Neuromorphic, an artificial intelligence and robotics startup co-founded by Vatan Aksoy Tezer, a 2021 graduate of Sabancı University's Computer Science and Engineering Master's Program, has been accepted into the S26 batch of Y Combinator, one of the world's most prestigious startup acceleration programs, and has received investment within the program.
Founded by Vatan Aksoy Tezer in collaboration with Cem Şeref Toker, Özgür Soysal, and Ege Doğanay, Neuromorphic has entered one of Silicon Valley's most distinguished startup ecosystems with its AI-based autonomous robot technologies.
A Journey That Began in a High School Workshop Extends to Silicon Valley
Evaluating their success, Vatan Aksoy Tezer stated that their robotics journey began in their high school years and expressed their excitement at having brought this journey to Silicon Valley today.
Tezer stated, "Neuromorphic, a hardware and AI-focused robotics startup that we founded with Cem Şeref Toker, Özgür Soysal, and Ege Doğanay, was accepted into Y Combinator's S26 program and received investment."
Developing autonomous robots for challenging real-world tasks
Neuromorphic aims to delegate dangerous and challenging tasks in physical sectors such as energy infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, and security to autonomous robots. Developing general intelligence and autonomy solutions that can operate in different robotic systems with a "hardware-independent intelligence" approach, the startup aims to make robot technologies more widespread and accessible by focusing on model development, human-robot interaction, and real-world field applications.
